A little bit about Tony:

Tony Perez has been diving the Cozumel waters for over 20 years. He has a total of 40 years of diving experience.

Tony is one of Cozumel's most noted marine experts and one of the most experienced dive instructors providing SCUBA diving services for persons of all ages and diving experience.

Tony is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer PADI Instructor. He offers PADI Certifications in: Basic Open Water, Open Water Referral, Advanced Open Water, EANx Nitrox, Divemaster, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Boat Diver, Night Diver, Multi-level Diver, Underwater Navigation, and Underwater Naturalist. He also offers special dive trips.

Tony's experience and knowledge of the Cozumel waters has been recognized in a number of diving articles including the unbiased publication Undercurrent while he was working for Careyitos Advanced Divers. He has also been recognized by the PADI Undersea Journal for his teaching ability in 1994 and again in 1999.

His passion is to assist new or Advanced Divers who want to improve their skills such as buoyancy control, improve bottom time, dive in currents, and wall diving. Tony will introduce both new and current divers to Cozumel's unique marine life including corals and sponges. All this in a professional unstructured, relaxed, and friendly manner.
